Baltic Dynamics 2015 in Lithuania

We are pleased to invite you to participate in 20th Annual Baltic Dynamics 2015 conference that will be hosted by a member of Baltic Association of Science Parks and Innovation Centres (BASTIC) - Kaunas Science and Technology Park - on 27-29 May, 2015 in Santaka Valley in Kaunas (Lithuania).

The Baltic Dynamics Conference is annually organised initiative of Baltic countries aiming at a promotion of international co-operation in the fields of innovation, entrepreneurship support and technology transfer. The Conference is organised since 1995 in turn by Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania and since 2015 - in Finland and Sweden as well. It attracts participants from a broad range of countries from all continents around the globe by promoting exchange of experience and adding to the successful development of innovation ecosystem and economy.

The organisers offer an exellent opportunity to combine the conference with networking merits as potential partners of Baltic Sea Region programme can plan workshops to discuss the development aspects of projects ideas after Monitoring Committee decision on invitation of projects applications to the 2nd stage of the BSR call that will be announced on 29th April, 2015. Colleagues from other European regions will get connected with people coming from different countries, from both the private and public sectors, who share the same passion for entrepreneurship, innovation and technology transfer.

BSR Workshop

Call for Contributions
We invite you therefore to consider contributing to our programme and to submit a short outline (approximately 10 lines) on your chosen topic and the insights you would like to present. On the basis of the contributions a programme of 6-8 parallel sessions will be built.

Conference Topics
This year we are putting the focus on synergies of new and old tools for entrepreneurship and innovation support. Can new instruments of support such as crowdfunding or acceleration be used together with matured models of incubation, venture capital or business angels? Submissions from academics, policy makers, consultants, managers in innovation management, technology transfer as well as in SMEs support field are strongly encouraged and should focus on the following topics:

  • The role of STPs in implementing Smart Specialisation guidelines
  • Incubators vs Accelerators vs Science and Technology Parks
  • Europe in a Changing World - Inclusive, Innovative and reflective societies
  • Financial Engineering Tools for Start-ups
  • Public and Private Partnership in Building Innovation Ecosystem
  • Science with and for Society
  • Social Innovation: Personal Development Approaches
  • Gender Equality aspect in the New methods of the Innovation System
